Description: Ecuadorian exports of semi-finished and finished products have not been high for years, because the producers do not invest in technology, they are not sufficiently trained and they take the easy way, which means that we are dedicated to exporting only raw material without give no added value to our products, and for this reason are not valued in international markets. It should investigate potential markets which appreciate Ecuadorian products, in order to introduce them into the market and increase exports, since this is the only way in which the economy of Ecuador improves so that poverty decreases and there is lower unemployment . Cocoa is the third agricultural export group, for years, it has helped maintain Ecuador's economy and employs more than 10% of farmers. For this reason, it is necessary to encourage the export not only of the grain but also to give it an added value and start exporting processed cocoa, which will bring greater benefits to the country. We must take advantage of the trade agreements that Ecuador has with the Latin American countries, make ourselves known in our region and then be able to expand to other international markets.
