Diseño de un contenedor para almacenamiento en frío a partir del aceite vegetal de semilla de aguacate maduro

Abstract

The design of the cold storage container is carried out from the extraction of ripe avocado seed oil by steam extraction to store in polyamide and coextruded polyethylene vacuum packaging bags of different dimensions. In this way, it can be distributed in different combinations in a 10-liter expandable polystyrene thermal box to determine the best distribution of the packed PCM, obtaining the internal temperature of the container during periods of time; considering that the minimum quantity of the volume of the PCM for the experimentation corresponds to approximately 3% of the volume of the container where the experimentation is carried out. It is concluded that despite working with the same amount of ripe avocado seed oil in the different experiments, the distribution of this volume inside the box is decisive.
