Abstract: Objectives The present work is a study aimed at analyzing the influence of the right to disconnect from work in teleworking in the administrative staff of a private university in Ecuador Method: This study followed a qualitative design with an exploratory approach through the application of an anonymous survey. The participants were 22 people, from the administrative, financial and Human talent department of the University. Results: It can be observed that 86.36% of the population frequently answers calls, messages or emails during their rest time, evidencing the extension of working hours, the decrease in family-social time Conclusion: It can be seen that most of the personnel do not have an adequate right to disconnection from work, which has caused the presence of biopsychosocial affectations such as feelings of sadness and / or anguish and also physical pain of the head, back and shoulders in administrative staff. Then it should be implemented regulations focused on the right to disconnect at the University
