| Abstract: | La Comunidad de San Martín de Veranillo se encuentra ubicada en la Parroquia Urbana de Maldonado, al noreste en el límite urbano del Cantón Riobamba, Provincia de Chimborazo. El ingreso a la comunidad es por la Av. Alfonso Chávez, que conduce a Penipe, en el Km. 1 ½ y se caracteriza por ser un sector en proceso de consolidación urbana. El acceso a la plaza principal de San Martín de Veranillo se lo hace por la calle de entrada a la Hostería “El Toril”. En la actualidad la población de la comunidad San Martin de Veranillo, carece de un adecuado sistema para la eliminación de desechos biológicos, por lo que algunas familias disponen de letrinas, baños secos y algunos realizan la eliminación de desechos al aire libre, originando focos de infección causantes de enfermedades. Por lo tanto, el diseño y construcción del sistema de alcantarillado se convierten en obras prioritarias. Mediante la directiva de la comunidad, se realizó un censo poblacional en el sector, determinando las personas que serán beneficiadas con el proyecto, además con la ayuda de la Empresa Pública Municipal de Alcantarillado y Agua Potable de la ciudad de Riobamba (E.P. EMAPAR), se realizó el levantamiento topográfico, lo cual es fundamental para el desarrollo del proyecto. Con los estudios topográficos y censo poblacional, se diseñó un sistema de alcantarillado que permita que toda la población beneficiada cuente con un sistema de eliminación de desechos, entregando los planos del diseño, y finalmente los costos o presupuesto del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario. |
| Description: | The Community of San Martín de Veranillo is located in the Urban Parish of Maldonado, to the northeast on the urban limit of the Riobamba Canton, Province of Chimborazo. The entrance to the community is through Alfonso Chávez Avenue, which leads to Penipe, at Km. 1 ½ and is characterized by being a sector in the process of urban consolidation. Access to the main square of San Martín de Veranillo is through the entrance street to the Hostería “El Toril”. Currently, the population of the San Martin de Veranillo community lacks an adequate system for the disposal of biological waste, which is why some families have latrines, dry toilets, and some dispose of waste in the open air, causing outbreaks of disease-causing infection. Therefore, the design and construction of the sewage system become priority works. Through the community directive, a population census was carried out in the sector, determining the people who will benefit from the project, also with the help of the Municipal Public Company of Sewerage and Drinking Water of the city of Riobamba (E.P. EMAPAR), The topographic survey was carried out, which is essential for the development of the project. With the topographic studies and population census, a sewage system was designed that allows the entire benefited population to have a waste disposal system, delivering the design plans, and finally the costs or budget of the sanitary sewage system. |
