| Abstract: | El Hospital de especialidades básicas El Puyo (IESS), es de gran importancia para la población ecuatoriana, especialmente para los habitantes de la provincia de Pastaza a la cual brinda el contingente médico necesario ante cualquier suceso ya sea antes, durante o después de un acontecimiento sísmico, partiendo de esta premisa se ve de importancia realizar un análisis de vulnerabilidad sísmica y así precautelar la vida de todas las personas que asistirán al lugar en el momento del suceso. El objetivo principal es analizar la vulnerabilidad sísmica y el nivel de daño del Hospital con relación a los daños que ha sufrido en toda su trayectoria de alrededor de 54 años y realizar un plan de contingencia y arreglo de daños a corto y largo plazo. Para determinar la vulnerabilidad sísmica de la edificación se realizó una inspección visual de daños dentro y fuera de la estructura, ya sea en columnas, vigas, losa y mampostería, así mismo identificar las diferentes patologías por medio de una ficha técnica patológica, identificando así las estructuras que podrían fallar ante un inminente evento sísmico |
| Description: | The “El Puyo” Basic Specialties Hospital (IESS) is of great importance for the Ecuadorian population, especially for the inhabitants of the Pastaza province to which it provides the necessary medical contingent in the event of any event either before, during or after a seismic event., based on this premise, it is important to carry out a seismic vulnerability analysis and thus protect the lives of all the people who will attend the place at the time of the event. The main objective is to analyze the seismic vulnerability and the level of damage to the Hospital in relation to the damage it has suffered throughout its history of around 51 years and to carry out a contingency plan and short-term and long-term damage repair. To determine the seismic vulnerability of the building, a visual inspection of damage inside and outside the structure was carried out, either in columns, beams, slab and masonry, as well as identifying the different pathologies by means of a pathological technical sheet, thus identifying the structures that could fail in the face of an imminent seismic event |
