Abstract: The following study was carried out in order to evaluate the existence of psychosocial risks in the health personnel of the COVID respiratory isolation area of the Latacunga General Hospital. Forty workers (health personnel) from the respiratory isolation area participated in the study. The COPSOQ ISTAS21 Psychosocial Risk Assessment questionnaire was used. The results showed that of the dimensions evaluated, those with the highest prevalence of exposure and the most unfavorable for the health of the staff are the following: Work rhythm (97.5), insecurity about working conditions (97.5%), insecurity about employment (82.5%), Social support from colleagues (55%), Social support from superiors (55%) and Role conflict (50%). Thus, concluding that there are psychosocial risks in the health personnel in the respiratory isolation area and that within the 20 dimensions evaluated, 6 are the most unfavorable for the health of the personnel. Once the psychosocial risks have been identified, it is necessary to carry out an intervention plan.
