Abstract: El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo diseñar un Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo en una empresa de reciclaje de residuos metálicos bajo los parámetros establecidos en la normativa legal vigente, para que mejoren las condiciones de trabajo. Para alcanzar el objetivo, se utilizó la norma ISO 45001:2018, la cual establece los requerimientos mínimos necesarios para la implementación del sistema. Se identificaron los procesos asociados a la empresa, y se realizó una evaluación inicial para conocer el estado actual de la empresa en cuanto a seguridad y salud ocupacional, para ello se realizó la matriz de requisitos legales la cual refleja el porcentaje de cumplimiento legal de la misma. Se procedió a identificar y evaluar los factores de riesgo existentes en las actividades para establecer planes de acción preventivos y correctivos en base a los resultados obtenidos y la creación de documentos, registros y formatos, que permitan llevar una correcta gestión documental necesaria para el SGSST; por último se desarrollaron los requisitos mínimos requeridos por la norma ISO 45001. Una vez aplicada la norma ISO 45001, y realizadas las evaluaciones necesarias, se considera que el diseño y planificación del sistema de gestión para la empresa de reciclaje, aporta al mejoramiento de la empresa y garantiza condiciones de trabajo seguras.
Description: The present work aims to design a Management System for Occupational Safety and Health Management System in a metal waste recycling company under the parameters established in the current legal regulations, to improve working conditions. To achieve the objective, ISO 45001:2018 was used, which establishes the minimum requirements necessary for the implementation of the system. The processes associated with the company were identified, and an initial assessment was made to know the current state of the company in terms of occupational safety and health, for this purpose, the matrix of legal requirements was made which reflects the percentage of legal compliance with it. Identified and evaluated existing risk factors in the activities to establish preventive and corrective action plans based on the results obtained and the creation of documents, records and formats, that allow for the proper documentary management necessary for the SGSST; finally, the minimum requirements required by ISO 45001 were developed. Once ISO 45001 is applied, and the necessary evaluations are made, it is considered that the design and planning of the management system for the recycling company, contributes to the improvement of the company and ensures safe working conditions.
