Abstract: The present investigation explores the experience of three cases of women from three different artistic spaces, ages and types of artistic groupings, two of dance and one of theater, who report having found therapeutic effects in their practice. The narratives of these experiences were obtained with in-depth interviews, with convenience sampling and in a snowball, using a qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm and based on symbolic interactionism. The narrations obtained refer to the fact that the bodily experience has promoted experiences of change, personal growth, feelings of emotional improvement, emotional self-discovery and femininity. On a relational level, they have found spaces of sincere expression with their companions, feelings of being understood and respected, and that they have discovered a sense of sorority. Finally, the artistic groups to which they belong respond to horizontal, feminine forms of organization and relationships that promote active participation in the group and mutual support and validation. We found out that the conjunction of the characteristics of: corporal activity, the relational ones of the environment and the structures of the groups have allowed to promote clear therapeutic effects in the participants. This leads to motivate new research that articulates the humanistic and systemic approach in psychotherapy.
