Description: | The present research work has as a general objective to evaluate the biological risks in the laboratory Analyst job by means of the application of the BIOGAVAL - NEO method (2018) in a clinical laboratory located in the city of Quito, for the data collection as conditions of the workplace and behavior of the workers a field study was carried out and the qualitative - observational methodology was applied to obtain the scores of the variables established in the Biogaval - Neo method that allows to determine the current state of the workplace and determine the level of biological risk to which workers are exposed. When applying this methodology, it was obtained that 3 of the 16 biological agents identified exceeded the level of biological action (NAB); for which preventive measures and recommendations are proposed; in order to reduce the level of biological risk in the clinical laboratory under study. |
