| Zusammenfassung: | Objetivo: Representar espacialmente los Cantones de la Provincia de Pichincha con mayor densidad de siniestros, lesionados y fallecidos por accidentes de tråfico en 2016 mediante el empleo de sistemas de información geográfica. Material - Métodos: Se geocodificaron los accidentes de tránsito según lesividad y letalidad y las Tasas Brutas y Ajustadas por Cantón. Resultados: Se representaron 10.777 siniestros, 5.984 víctimas con lesiones y 334 fallecidos por accidentes de tránsito. Por cada 100 accidentes de tránsito se registraron 56 víctimas con lesiones (lesividad) y 3 fallecidos (letalidad), principalmente en Ios Cantones de Cayambe, San Miguel de Los Bancos, Mejía y Pedro Vicente Maldonado. Conclusiones: Los mapas obtenidos permiten visualizar aquellos Catones de mayor accidentabilidadt facilitando a los gobiernos cantonales plantear estrategias y acciones en seguridad vial |
