Abstract: En el período del siglo XVIII y XIX, las industrias de todo el mundo sufrieron cambios sociales. Esta variación provocó una transformación en la cultura, economía, tecnología, etc., por lo que se le dio el nombre de Revolución Industrial. En aquel tiempo necesitaban mejorar su producción de modo que la innovación y la modernización fueron las prioridades para los dueños de empresas. Actualmente, las organizaciones se preocupan por dichos avances tecnológicos, por actualizarse en conocimientos para desarrollar mejor sus procesos internos en cuanto a comunicación y motivación. Ambos factores hoy influyen directamente en el desempeño de los empleados. El Recurso Humano o talento humano es considerado un factor muy importante dentro de las organizaciones, por lo que el Departamento de recursos humanos tiene la función de seleccionar y formar personas para ciertos puestos, de atender sus necesidades y trabajar para fomentar la comunicación y los valores organizacionales, además de elaborar planes y estrategias para la obtención de beneficios para los miembros de la compañía. Por tal motivo, el propósito de esta investigación es conocer la importancia que le dan las organizaciones a la motivación y a la comunicación, por eso se tomó el caso de BMI Companies Ecuador, que como empresa nacional con accionistas extranjeros busca seguir expandiéndose a nivel mundial y tratando de obtener un buen servicio para sus empleados y clientes. Después de obtener los resultados se puede decir que BMI si motiva a sus empleados y que está trabajando mejorar su comunicación interna.
Description: During the centuries XVII and XIX, the industries all over the world had many social changes. These changes caused transformations in the culture, economy, technology, etc. That's why this era was called Industrial Revolution. At that time, the industries needed to improve their production, so the innovation and the modernization were the priorities for the owners of companies. Nowadays, organizations are not only worried about these technological advances but have also updated themselves in knowledge to develop their internal processes better as far as Communications and Motivation are concerned. Both factors influence the performance of the employees. The Human Resource or human talent is considered a very important factor within the organizations, being the reason why the department of human resources not only has the function to select and to form people for certain positions but also to take care of its necessities and to work to enhance their communication and the organization values. Moreover, it includes elaborated plans and strategies to obtain benefits for the members of the company. Hence, the intention of this investigation is to know the importance that the organizations give to motivation and communication. That's why we took the case of BMI Companies Ecuador, it's a national company with foreign shareholders, that looks for continuous worldwide expansion level, and tries to obtain a good sen/ice for its employees and clients. After obtaining the results, it can be said that BMI motivates its employees and work to improve the internal communication.
