Description: The present study aims to promote the development of tourism in the Intag area, through signage, because it is an area with high tourism potential, and there are still large gaps in their idea of potentializing the area, lack of signage is something that the area has been dragging for years, so most tourists who come to Intag do not have the facilities to meet their needs or expectations, requires a comprehensive tourist signage system, which is a guide for the traveler, who provides a friendly welcome to the tourist and the same inhabitant of the town. For which it must be known initially that there are different types of signaling which vary in the colors of the plates and in the focus of their objectives, in which the road signs prevail, names of the cities with their distances, among others, But this type of signage is not enough to satisfy the needs of tourists, either to find the tourist attraction it is aimed at, as well as to find out about other alternatives of places that they can visit. After conducting a field investigation it has been concluded that the area needs a signage system, it is very difficult to access the tourist sites and even more to be able to enjoy the attractions in a better way. MINTUR developed a "Manual of Tourist Signaling" for the Institutions responsible for the creation of information fences and thus complement the requirements of tourists; the same one that will be used as a reference to create this tool that will be an important contribution to tourist orientation in the area, and thus, ensure that tourists can optimize their time and resources for a greater enjoyment of their visit in the chosen place , either by distraction, health or business. The tourism signage that is proposed to be placed in the Intag Zone is designed to be visible and easy to understand, it is designed with icons of tourism activities, services, restrictions and directionals, it is expected that the signage to be implemented is favorable for the development of the area and increase demand, the projection is that the area is better known and visited, due to its diversity of attractions and its easy location. Observing this aspect, it can be said that accessibility is one of the indicators to measure the quality of life offered by a site, and the signage what it does is to provide that quality, in a graphic and informative manner, also provides greater accessibility the tourists to the services.
