Abstract: La calidad total viene a ser un tema de gran importancia, que en la presente propuesta se lo ha enfocado a nivel de las empresas tomándola como una ventaja competitiva de las mismas. En cada oportunidad hay más acuerdo para señalar en el mundo entero que la calidad de los productos se ha convertido, sin duda, en el componente más importante para el éxito de las empresas y de los países, tanto en América como el resto del mundo. Después de las experiencias obtenidas de una empresa a otra, se ha llegado a determinar que la calidad total conduce a un mejor aprovechamiento de la inversión que pueden llevar a cabo en el momento actual empresas y naciones en el mundo de los negocios. La experiencia obtenida en años pasados por instituciones que implementaron programas de calidad total extrajeron como lección que estos llevan al éxito de los productos y servicios en los mercados nacionales e internacionales, con una respuesta favorable por la reducción en los costos, una estabilidad social en los centros de producción, actividades administrativas y un incremento en las utilidades. De lo observado es aplicable a las pequeñas y grandes empresas, más aún, se ha llegado a concluir que la calidad ha desempeñado un papel muy importante en las exportaciones realizadas por las PYME, sobre todo cuando estas han sacado saldo favorable de su flexibilidad, administrativa y operativa, en relación con las grandes compañías.
Description: Total quality becomes a very important issue, which in the present proposal has been focused on the level of the companies taking it as a competitive advantage of them. Every time there is more agreement to point out in the whole world that the quality of products has undoubtedly become the most important component for the success of the companies and countries, both in America and the rest of the world. After the experiences obtained from one company to another, it has been determined that the Total quality leads to a better use of the investment that can be carried out in The current moment companies and nations in the business world. The experience obtained in past years by institutions that implemented programs of total quality they drew as a lesson that these lead to the success of products and services in national and international markets, with a favorable response to the reduction in costs, social stability in the production centers, administrative activities and a increase in profits. From what is observed is applicable to small and large companies, moreover, it has been conclude that quality has played a very important role in exports made by SMEs, especially when they have obtained favorable balance from their flexibility, administrative and operational, in relation to large companies.
