Diseño de una Memoria Sostenible para el proyecto de construcción del Poliducto Pascuales- La Troncal (2015)

Abstract

Entender la Responsabilidad Social, alejada de una imagen filantrópica requiere de un análisis técnico de la situación organizacional. Una Memoria de Sostenibilidad es el modelo concreto de aplicación de este acercamiento de Responsabilidad Social, se compone de la identificación de sus Aspectos Materiales y el desarrollo de estrategias sostenibles integradoras de los grupos de interés. Se diseñó una Memoria Sostenible para el proyecto en construcción del poliducto Pascuales – La Troncal de la EP Petroecuador, en el marco de una metodología generada por parámetros conceptuales de la Norma ISO 26000 sobre Responsabilidad Social y en el Manual Guía G4 del Global Reporting Initiative, y bajo parámetros técnicos de levantamiento de datos. Se obtuvo una línea base de percepción socio ambiental del área de influencia del proyecto, la evaluación de la empresa a través de sus grupos de interés, una matriz de Aspectos Materiales, un total de 16 indicadores entre Economía, Ambiente y Prácticas Laborales, y un total de 23 estrategias planteadas para la gestión de RSE como sistema integrado. Se determinó que EP Petroecuador a través de la Subgerencia de Responsabilidad Social y Relaciones Comunitarias ha fortalecido su política en términos sostenibles, que deberá apoyarse en la comunicación transversal del concepto y aplicación de RSE en todas sus Gerencias, y en la sistematización de los datos, como soporte para la evaluación de futuros Aspectos Materiales y determinación de indicadores.

Understanding Social Responsibility, far from a philanthropic image requires a technical analysis of the organizational situation. A Sustainability Report is the concrete model of application of this approach of Social Responsibility, it consists of the identification of its Material Aspects and the development of sustainable strategies integrating the stakeholders. A Sustainable Report was designed for the project under construction of the Pascuales - La Troncal pipeline of the Petroecuador EP, within the framework of a methodology generated by conceptual parameters of the ISO 26000 Standard on Social Responsibility and in the G4 Guide Manual of the Global Reporting Initiative, and under technical parameters of data collection. A base line of socio-environmental perception of the area of ​​influence of the project was obtained, the evaluation of the company through its stakeholders, a matrix of Material Aspects, a total of 16 indicators between Economy, Environment and Labor Practices, and a total of 23 strategies proposed for CSR management as an integrated system. It was determined that EP Petroecuador through the Sub-Directorate of Social Responsibility and Community Relations has strengthened its policy in sustainable terms, which should be supported by the cross-sectional communication of the concept and application of CSR in all its Managers, and in the systematization of the data, as a support for the evaluation of future Material Aspects and determination of indicators.
