Diseño arquitectónico de un Instituto Tecnológico Superior sectorial

Abstract

El nuevo Sistema de educación exige rendir un examen para poder ingresar a la Universidad pero no todos los postulantes aprueban dicho examen y se quedan sin estudiar. De acuerdo con la SENESCYT, se van a crear 40 institutos técnicos y tecnológicos en todo el país. Estos institutos deben ser de carácter público y deben ubicarse cerca de las industrias ya que van a trabajar con una formación dual en la que el 50 por ciento de las horas de clases son teóricas y la otra mitad son clases prácticas en las fábricas para aplicar lo que han aprendido. Por todo esto se propone crear un Instituto Tecnológico Superior Sectorial en la parroquia de Cotogchoa en el Cantón Rumiñahui, en la que existe un parque industrial pero aún no cuenta con un instituto tecnológico público. La creación de dicho instituto contará con 3 carreras que son mecánica, eléctrica y electromecánica, las cuales están enfocadas en el funcionamiento y mantenimiento de la maquinaria utilizada en las fábricas. El instituto está diseñado para 500 estudiantes por jornada de estudio. El campus cuenta con áreas de recreación, de descanso y grandes espacios verdes.
