| Abstract: | El gobierno nacional ecuatoriano en los últimos cinco años ha venido analizado la evolución de la balanza comercial, en donde los resultados del déficit han sido contraproducentes para el país, en el año 2.008 el Banco Central en su informe anual muestra que hay un incremento del 36% de importaciones con respecto a las exportaciones, con estas estadísticas el gobierno decide tomar medidas para estabilizar y dar equilibrio a la economía del país, una de ellas fue el restringir el volumen de importaciones a una gama de bienes de consumo y dentro de esta se encuentran los vehículos livianos con un cilindraje mayor a los 1.500 cc (centímetros cúbicos), con esta restricción los sectores que se ven involucrados son el automotriz y de seguros con la emisión de pólizas de vehículos. El propósito de este estudio es conocer el impacto que tendrán estos sectores al entrar en vigencia las restricciones arancelarias, cual es el cambio es su economía y finalmente proporcionar recomendaciones sobre el nivel de producción de pólizas vehiculares. |
| Description: | The Ecuadorian national government in the last five years has been analyzing the evolution of the trade balance, where the results of the deficit have been counterproductive for the country, in the year 2008 the Central Bank in its annual report shows that there is an increase of 36%. % of imports with respect to exports, with these statistics the government decides to take measures to stabilize and balance the country's economy, one of which was to restrict the volume of imports to a range of consumer goods and within this find light vehicles with a cylinder capacity greater than 1,500 cc (cubic centimeters), with this restriction the sectors that are involved are the automotive and insurance with the issuance of vehicle policies. The purpose of this study is to know the impact that these sectors will have when the tariff restrictions come into effect, what is the change in their economy and finally provide recommendations on the level of production of vehicle policies. |
