Abstract: | La presente investigación busca determinar la prevalencia del Síndrome de Burnout y su relación con las variables socio demográficas y laborales, en el personal administrativo de un hospital de Imbabura, se trata de un estudio de carácter descriptivo analítico y transversal. La población de este estudio está constituida por 40 administrativos. El levantamiento de datos se realizó a través del cuestionario de Burnout de Maslach para atención al cliente (MBI), la encuesta de evaluación socio demográfica y laboral y el inventario de sintomatología de estrés enfocado a Burnout; para su análisis y procesamiento de datos se empleó el programa estadístico SPSS 19 versión Windows. Se encontró que las variables, socios demográficos y laborales relacionados directamente con el síndrome de Burnout son el horario y el ritmo de trabajo, las dimensiones del Burnout, cansancio emocional, despersonalización y realización personal se ubicaron en un nivel medio; y a nivel general se obtuvo que el 45% de administrativos se encuentran en un nivel bajo; un 30% de administrativos se encuentran en un nivel medio y un 25% de administrativos en un nivel extremo. La sintomatología presentada, y que está relacionada directamente con el síndrome de Burnout en los administrativos fueron: síntomas asociados a problemas de autoestima, tiempo mínimo para uno mismo, sentirse sin ganas de comenzar algo, falta de flexibilidad adaptativa y síntomas somáticos asociados al estrés, como el cansancio mental; dificultades de sueño; agresividad; baja autoestima; perdida o exceso de apetito; resfriados, gripes. |
Description: | This research aims to determine the prevalence of Burnout syndrome and its relationship with sociodemographic variables and labor in a hospital administrative staff of Imbabura; it is a descriptive analytical study and cross. The study population consists of 40 administrative. The collection of data was performed using the Maslach Burnout Questionnaire for customer service (MBI), the survey of socio-demographic and occupational assessment and inventory of symptoms of stress focused on Burnout , for analysis and data processing was used SPSS Windows version 19 . It was found that the variables, demographic and labor partners directly related to Burnout syndrome are the hours and pace of work, the dimensions of Burnout, emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment stood at a medium level, and overall level was obtained that 45% administration are at a low level, a 30% administration are at a medium level and 25% at an extreme level. The symptoms presented , and it is directly related to Burnout syndrome in the administration were: symptoms associated with self-esteem issues , minimum time for oneself , feeling no desire to start something, lack of adaptive flexibility and somatic symptoms associated with stress , as mental fatigue , sleep difficulties , aggression , low self-esteem , loss of appetite or excessive , colds , flu. |
