Abstract: La presente investigación es un análisis sobre los peligros que se puede suscitar en el Colegio Militar Eloy Alfaro como son los riesgos de incendios, explosiones, riesgos naturales, entre otros, para lo cual se estable un Plan de Emergencia el cual busca una respuesta rápida ante posibles situaciones que en algún momento se puede llegar producir. La investigación parte de la problemática de no contar con un Plan de Emergencia en el Colegio Militar Eloy Alfaro por lo que el personal administrativo, docente y estudiantado debe estar capacitado para enfrentar una emergencia o siniestro, garantizando el bienestar de todos. El estar preparados para dichas emergencias mitiga el riesgo de tener accidentes o muertes por lo que es preciso instaurar brigadas de comunicación, brigadas de primeros auxilios, brigadas contra incendios, brigadas de evacuación, brigada de orden y seguridad. La efectividad del Plan de Emergencia depende de la implementación y puesta en marcha en el Colegio Militar Eloy Alfaro, todo el personal de dicha institución participara activamente en las labores de prevención que se vayan a desarrollar. También el personal como los estudiantes deben conocer de los posibles riesgos en las diferentes áreas donde se desarrolla su actividad, por lo que es fundamental estar al tanto de la existencia y funcionamiento de los dispositivos que se encuentren disponibles, adicional el director o administrador debe dar aviso en caso de que se presente un evento adverso a las instituciones de emergencia para que controlen el siniestro. El análisis se complementa con la aplicación de las NFPA (normas y códigos contra incendios), para verificar si la institución está cumpliendo con dichas normativas.
Description: The present investigation is an analysis of the dangers that can inspire in the Eloy Alfaro Military College as are the risks of fires, explosions, natural hazards, among others, for which an emergency plan which looks for a rapid response to possible situations that at some point you can reach produce. The research part of the problem of not having an Emergency Plan in the Eloy Alfaro Military College by what the administrative staff, teachers and students must be trained to deal with an emergency or disaster, ensuring the welfare of all. Be prepared for such emergencies mitigates the risk of having accidents or deaths by what is necessary to institute brigades of communication, brigades of first aid, fire brigades, brigades of evacuation, brigade of order and security. The effectiveness of the Emergency Plan depends on the implementation and commissioning at a military college Eloy Alfaro, the entire staff of that institution will participate actively in the work of prevention that is going to develop. Also the staff and students must be aware of the potential risks in the different areas where it develops its activity, so it is essential to be aware of the existence and operation of devices that are available, additional the director or administrator must give notice in the event of an adverse event to rescue institutions to control the sinister. The analysis is complemented with the implementation of the NFPA codes and standards (fire), to check whether the institution is in compliance with these regulations.
