The exposure of the population to urban noise increases incessantly in cities, meaning a series of effects on health and the environment. Therefore, urban planning It is transcendental, since it facilitates the resolution of governance challenges, ordering territorial and public health that today are presented. It is so that the use of models predictive mathematics of urban noise has become an appreciated tool, which hand in hand with a thorough study of vehicular dynamics, allows to evaluate, anticipate, control and mitigate undesirable effects on the habitability conditions of citizens in the medium term. In this sense, the object of the present work of end of career, is to validate the predictive mathematical models of urban noise developed in 2011-2012 by the UISEK. Once five measuring stations have been selected in the area Northeast of the city of Quito, were measured over a week for 18 hours at day, the equivalent sound pressure level, the number of vehicles per hour and the speed with which they transit. The present investigation generated a contribution in the database of the UISEK, elucidating opportunities for improvement, and strengthening the validation methodology. The results showed that the adjusted models are validated in a single station, but that based on the adjustments made in the statistical treatment, it was possible to generate two new models that adapt to the conditions of the area, thereby exceeding the expectations of the present work of end of career.
