As a complement to the work previously carried out by students of the faculty of environmental sciences of the UISEK, in the present investigation the objective of validating two models of prediction of urban noise in the South-Eastern sector of the city of Quito, developed in in 2012. These models are those of linearization of a non-linear function and multivariate analysis. This required obtaining 630 data in the sector studied and an extensive literature review in order to determine the best validation method. Finally, we chose to use the confidence interval method at 1% significance, using the Student t distribution. In this research two new models are proposed, after having improved those of the previous promotion, which underwent the same validation process. Although certain indicators, such as the correlation coefficient, showed a very good fit, the mathematical models in question were rejected for the Southeast sector of the City. However, it should be mentioned that although these equations do not adjust to the reality of the sector, the difference between the experimental values and the theoretical values is not decisive, and may require a small adjustment to validate them definitively.
