| Abstract: | Este estudio propone el diseño de un buzón electroneumático automatizado para abordar los desafíos en la mediana minería subterránea en Ecuador. Se realiza un diagnóstico de la situación actual y se consideran normativas internacionales de seguridad y calidad. El diseño preliminar busca mejorar la productividad y reducir los riesgos operativos hasta en un 30%. Se destaca que esta solución tiene el potencial de generar mejoras significativas en la productividad, costos operativos y seguridad laboral en la industria minera. Se recomienda la construcción de un prototipo a escala real para validar y optimizar el diseño propuesto. Con esto, se espera contribuir al avance y modernización de la mediana minería subterránea en el país. |
| Description: | This study proposes the design of an automated electropneumatic mailbox to address the challenges in medium underground mining in Ecuador. A diagnosis of the current situation is made and international safety and quality regulations are considered. The preliminary design seeks to improve productivity and reduce operational risks by up to 30%. It is highlighted that this solution has the potential to generate significant improvements in productivity, operating costs and occupational safety in the mining industry. The construction of a full-scale prototype is recommended to validate and optimize the proposed design. With this, it is expected to contribute to the advancement and modernization of medium-sized underground mining in the country. |
