| Abstract: | El Trastorno Límite de la Personalidad es una condición mental severa que afecta aproximadamente al 1.6% de la población general, aunque algunas estimaciones sugieren que podría ser más prevalente. Este trastorno se caracteriza por la inestabilidad emocional, la impulsividad, las relaciones interpersonales caóticas y la imagen distorsionada de sí mismo, impactando significativamente la interacción social de las personas afectadas. Esta revisión sistemática se centra en analizar el impacto del Trastorno Límite de la Personalidad en la interacción social, destacando la importancia de comprender cómo este trastorno influye en la vida diaria y las relaciones interpersonales de quienes lo padecen. |
| Description: | Borderline Personality Disorder is a severe mental condition affecting approximately 1.6% of the general population, although some estimates suggest it may be more prevalent. This disorder is characterized by emotional instability, impulsivity, chaotic interpersonal relationships, and distorted self-image, significantly impacting the social interaction of affected individuals. This systematic review focuses on analyzing the impact of BPD on social interaction, highlighting the importance of understanding how this disorder influences the daily lives and interpersonal relationships of those diagnosed. |
