| Abstract: | Esta revisión sistemática plantea como objetivo analizar la violencia de género hacia personas de la comunidad LGBTIQ+ sustentado en el efecto del fenómeno en la salud mental mediante una revisión sistemática que permita la inclusión y la prevención de la misma en diferentes contextos. A nivel metodológico se trata de una revisión con enfoque cualitativo, con alcance descriptivo, fundamentado en el paradigma interpretativo y el método inductivo. El diseño aplicado corresponde al modelo de guía PRISMA 2020. al período de tiempo escogido respecto a los artículos que se utilizan para la revisión, éste corresponde al comprendido entre 2013 y 2023. La revisión realizada se efectuó sobre un total de 12 artículos. Los resultados obtenidos determinan que la violencia psicológica es la que mayormente afecta a las personas de la comunidad LGBTIQ+, seguido de la violencia física y sexual. Además, las principales alteraciones en la salud mental de este grupo de personas se centran en la aparición de cuadros de depresión y ansiedad. Se concluye que la violencia de género hacia personas de la comunidad LGBTIQ+ es un problema social que tiene consecuencias devastadoras en la salud mental de las víctimas. Esto se debe a que la discriminación, el estigma y la intolerancia hacia las personas LGBTIQ+ pueden manifestarse en diversas formas de violencia física, psicológica, sexual, generando altos niveles de ansiedad, depresión, y otros trastornos de salud mental que terminan por incidir de manera negativa en la calidad de vida de esta clase de personas |
| Description: | This systematic review aims to analyze gender violence towards people from the LGBTIQ+ community based on the effect of the phenomenon on mental health through a systematic review that allows its inclusion and prevention in different contexts. At the methodological level, it is a review with a qualitative approach, with a descriptive scope, based on the interpretative paradigm and the inductive method. The applied design corresponds to the PRISMA 2020 guide model. The period of time chosen with respect to the articles used for the review, corresponds to the period between 2013 and 2023. The review was carried out on a total of 12 articles. The results obtained determine that psychological violence is the one that most affects people from the LGBTIQ+ community, followed by physical and sexual violence. In addition, the main alterations in the mental health of this group of people are focused on the appearance of depression and anxiety. It is concluded that gender violence against people from the LGBTIQ+ community is a social problem that has devastating consequences on the mental health of the victims. This is because discrimination, stigma, and intolerance towards LGBTIQ+ people can manifest in various forms of physical, psychological, and sexual violence, generating high levels of anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders that end up having a significant impact. negative in the quality of life of this class of people. |
