| Abstract: | Este trabajo propone la implementación de la metodología BIM para ser utilizada en el proyecto de construcción, “Edificio Bellavista”, ubicado en el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. La edificación cuenta con cuatro plantas habitacionales y dos subsuelos. Con el objetivo de mostrar los beneficios del enfoque BIM a lo largo la planificación del proyecto, se plantearon dos propuestas de diseño para el edificio, una con hormigón armado y la segunda en estructura metálica, de las cuales se evaluó el costo y posteriormente se realizó la planificación de la mejor propuesta. Con el uso de la metodología propuesta se logró optimizar de manera más eficiente el intercambio de información y la gestión del cambio. | Description: | This work proposes the implementation of the BIM methodology to be used in the construction project, "Bellavista Building", located in the Metropolitan District of Quito. The building has four residential floors and two basements, with the aim of showing the benefits of the BIM approach throughout the planning of the project, two design proposals for the building were raised, one with reinforced concrete and the second in a metal structure, of which the cost was evaluated and later the planning of the best proposal was carried out. With the use of the proposed methodology, it was possible to optimize more efficiently the exchange of information and change management. In addition, an efficient obtaining of measures and quantities of work to optimize times and costs. |
