Description: The digital control of power and torque is very common to find around the corner, because it facilitates the proper adjustment of a mechanical system depending on each vehicle model, without the need to manufacture different mechanisms as was done in the previous decade. The nitro OBD2 stands out among the list of car booster devices, due to its low cost and easy implementation, without the need for advanced knowledge, this motivated its choice to be evaluated, through three measurements of torque and power with an automotive dynamometer, with chip and no chips. The comparison of results was made based on the values that were observed from the monitor of the measurement system that shows the variations in real time of the magnitudes to be evaluated. The chip does show ignition signals, as well as communication with the ECU, but it does not corroborate its operation as such, compared to the theoretical data that the manufacturer promises; When evaluating these observations, it is decided to investigate auxiliary methods such as reverse engineering, to observe the internal architecture of the device and intuit possible causes of its poor performance. Finally, it was deduced that the NITRO OBD2 CHIP is easy to get at a good price; however, it does not meet the expectations provided by the manufacturer, as well as its internal analysis is unfeasible due to the lack of nomenclatures in elements that make up the electronic circuit of the device, as it should normally be in cards manufactured under the correct regulated technical standards
