Abstract

In this project, a sustainability report was built with the importance of understanding that in order to truly comply with Social Responsibility and sustainability, we must take into account the GRI Standards, whose purpose is to promote Sustainability Reports as a tool for planning, measuring, evaluation and communication of progress and impacts on social, economic and environmental aspects of an organization. The GRI produces the most used sustainability reporting structure in the world due to its development in reliable standards. (Boliviana, (2018)). Taking into account the aforementioned, at present, the issue of Sustainable Development has become an essential axis of business management at a global level. In this context, implementing it within the organizational culture of a company means incorporating new concepts that link a sustainable promise. Under the commitment to serve its workers, the environment, and society in general; H.O.V Hotelera Quito S.A maintains various programs that seek, among other objectives, to establish a permanent framework that encourages and promotes Social Responsibility practices, training and community service. With this background, it presents this report, in order to report annually on the integrated efforts it makes to maintain socially responsible business management, through compliance with the GRI standards with Interest in: Energy Consumption (GRI 302), Water (GRI 303 ), Non-Discrimination (GRI 406).
