Abstract: Objectives: To evaluate the forced postures adopted during work hours by the male warehouse staff at night in a dairy industry located in the Mejía - Pichincha canton. As well as identifying which are the musculoskeletal discomforts present in the workers, this allowed locating the most affected anatomical region in the workers. Materials and methods: The applied study was descriptive cross-sectional to the operating group of the night warehouse. A population of 12 workers is with whom the analysis was carried out, applying both the inclusion and exclusion criteria, which allowed identifying the most prevalent musculoskeletal injury in the work area. The forced postures were analyzed with the ESTUDIO ERGO Software, and the Nordic Kuorinka questionnaire to determine the symptomatology by body segment. Results: Taking the time of the last 12 months, the presence of musculoskeletal discomfort was found in the study group in 58.3%. It did not indicate that the lumbar area is the most affected, corresponding to 33.3%, shoulder discomfort represents 25%, in the same way the hand and wrist area are 25%, and the neck corresponds to 8.3%. Conclusion: The results show us a moderate prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders with predominance in the dorso-lumbar back followed by upper limbs, probably due to the adoption of forced postures during the working day, this allows us to make adaptations in inadequate postures, which contributes to human and industrial welfare.
