Abstract: The objective of this research was to repower a conventional hydroponic module, through sensors, microcontrollers and an IoT platform, for the control and monitoring of sensors and processes of water supply, nutrition, circulation and evacuation of the nutrient solution in the growth of lettuce; Lactuca Sativa and Batavia boinda di Parigi. The hypothesis focuses on whether a hydroponic module improved or repowered through a Lambda architecture in a method that includes the IoT can control and monitor the different sensors and processes at a certain time of lettuce growth. The methodology that was applied starts from a quantitative approach taking into account the measurable variables of the study, the research has an exploratory scope or level since the technology in hydroponics in convergence with the IoT has been little investigated, being this one of the first in Pichincha and very specifically in Quito. Finally, the research has an experimental design because this technique allowed us to observe, manipulate and record data in two types of variables, such as the independent and dependent ones that affect a certain phenomenon. The results could be observed through the interface of the IoT platform called Ubidots that allowed a control in the monitoring of the different data obtained from an Ethernet module and the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller creating different variables with their respective graph with an easy way to view from a computer or smartphone.
