The project is located in the Valley of the Chillos, in the province of Pichincha, sector where it is intended to organize the implementation of the proposed Design of the Farm Self-sufficient Integrated, in a land of approximately one hectare of extension, with a maximum of 5% slope, which has conditioned housing and a good water disposal. Therefore, the implementation of technologies that help improve the productivity, with what is intended to lay the foundations of self-support for the survival and family income generation. This model of Self-Sufficient Integral Farm intends important changes in the long-term soil fertility and species diversity; ambition to maintain genetic diversity of the system and its environment through the strengthening of the concept of sustainability, which is intended to ensure the permanent availability of the existing necessary resources for the subsistence of the human being. The implementation of this development model will be able to diminish in a very remarkable the percentage of contamination produced in the agricultural practices in said ground. The development of this project is justified for several reasons, one of them being the fact that the Valley of the Chillos is a region of agricultural tradition where they use rudimentary culture techniques (Traditional Agriculture) of low performance, a situation that strongly affects the quality of life of the rural population. The creation of models of agricultural production under the premises of operability, simplicity, low investment, high sustainable yields, represents an opportunity to enhance agricultural development and improve the socio-economic conditions of family groups living in rural areas, while creating the patterns of root of man with his environment. To begin this investigation, we proceeded to identify the Influence area of the project, which consists of an Area of Direct Influence (AID) that corresponds to the set of areas that will receive direct impacts or influences from the project constitution, as well as other activities directly related to the the same, for which an area of 500 m has been established. The AID of the project is the sector of the Mirasierra Urbanization within the parish of Alangasí, close to the population of Tingo, which is characterized by its accelerated urbanization and its family recreation areas (swimming pools, parks, large areas greens, typical food of the sector, and religious centers). On the other hand, it is important consider that the sector connects with the Triangle, which constitutes the main artery of connection with the capital. This place is characterized for being a very strategic point commercial. The territorial extension is 65,148.76 ha., Which houses 117,000 inhabitants distributed in the parishes of Amaguaña, Guangopolo, Alangasí, Pintag, La Merced, and, Conocoto. The Area of Indirect Influence (AII) corresponds to the set of areas that will be affected by indirect impacts, result of new accessibility and development induced by the project. The AII is around 1000 m. The integrated production (IP) that is to be implemented is an agricultural system of production of food and other high-quality products, which uses resources and natural regulatory mechanisms to avoid harmful contributions to the environment, and, in addition, ensures a sustainable agriculture in the long term. The model also allows obtaining high quality products associated with media of environmentally friendly production, which minimize the use of products chemicals and use conservationist techniques such as integrated management.
