Abstract

Implementation of a quality management system based on the ISO 9001: 2015 standard in the manufacturing area of the company FRANCO GRANDA DIMALVID CIA. LTDA. Quantitative, applicative and cross-sectional research was applied to carry out an analysis based on the ISO 9001: 2015 of the existing quality management system in the company, a diagnosis of the macro-environment of the organization was made, and the business strategy and the process sheets of the production plant were created To solve the non-conformities found, the documentary support was created for the monitoring, control and improvement of the production processes, after having designed the quality management system for the manufacturing area, it was implemented through the dissemination, application of the SGC and obtaining the corresponding quality indicators. The degree of compliance with the implemented QMS was evaluated with an internal audit and by verifying compliance with the objectives and the established quality policy. The result was an increase in the productivity of the area and in the optimization of resources. It is concluded that the implementation of the QMS in the production plant fostered an organizational structure in the company with a focus on continuous improvement.
