dc.description	El presente artículo evalúa las funciones ejecutivas de los adolescentes infractores que han cometido delitos sexuales y otra clase de delitos, que cumplen internamiento institucional en centros de adolescentes infractores. Tuvo como objetivo caracterizar los datos sociodemográficos mediante el análisis descriptivo; analizar el índice de fiabilidad de la Escala de observación clínica de Luria (EOCL-1) en su aplicación al presente estudio; evaluar la correlación existente entre los diferentes sub escalas del instrumento; comparar las funciones ejecutivas de los participantes que han cometido delitos sexuales frente a los otros tipos de delitos. Participaron 34 jóvenes ecuatorianos que se encuentran internos en los Centros de Adolescentes Infractores entre 18 y a 24 años de edad (Medad=2.76) (DE=1.32). Los resultados muestran que existe una correlación estadísticamente significativa entre las subescalas, teniendo como excepción la corrección de errores y la monitorización de la conducta y cognición (r=.271) (p=.120). Lo que explica que los infractores en delitos sexuales tienden a ya no reincidir en este tipo de infracción, sin embargo, en el caso de volver a infringir la ley será en otros tipos de delitos. Se discuten los resultados que los adolescentes que cometen delitos sexuales y otro tipo de delitos no presentan una diferencia significativa en sus funciones ejecutivas (t(32) = -.193).	es
dc.description.abstract	This article evaluates the executive functions of adolescent offenders who have committed sexual offenses and other types of crimes, who are institutionalized in centers for adolescent offenders. Its objective was to characterize the sociodemographic data through a descriptive analysis; to analyze the reliability index of Luria Clinical Observation Scale (EOCL-1) in its application to the present study; evaluate the correlation between the different subscales of the instrument; to compare the executive functions of participants who have committed sexual crimes against the other types of crimes. 34 young Ecuadorians who are interned in Centers for Adolescent Offenders between 18 and 24 years old participated (Average = 2.76) (SD = 1.32). The results show that there is a statistically significant correlation between the subscales, with the exception of error correction and monitoring of behavior and cognition (r = .271) (p = .120). This explains that the offenders in sexual crimes tend not to repeat themselves in this type of offense, however, in the case of a law breaking again it will be in other types of crimes. The results that adolescents who committed sexual crimes and other types of crimes did not present a significant difference in their executive functions are discussed (t (32) = -.19	es
