Description: Cystic fibrosis is an autosomal recessive disease in which a mutation on chromosome 7 encoding the Transmembrane Conductance Regulatory Protein (CFTR) (JS, 2016). The abnormal functioning of the CFTR protein raises bicarbonate concentrations, modifying the concentration of anions, altering the composition of the mucus and increasing the viscosity, causing its main condition that consists of a chronic infection of the respiratory tract at the endobrochial level (D & CL, 2019 ). Mucus movement provides an environment conducive to clinically important microbial infections caused by bacteria and fungi (B. C & AM, 2019). These infections begin with the entry of bacteria into the respiratory tract, forming a biofilm in the lung parenchyma that facilitates the adhesion of pathogenic microorganisms that invade the lung epithelium, infecting and causing tissue damage (AC & VJ, 2019). Understanding the interactions and diversity that occur during infection is relevant for timely treatment, since microorganisms can generate niches of nutritional dependence or other synergistic or antagonistic relationships (C. S et al., 2018). The microbiological study of cystic fibrosis (CF) has currently focused on the fact that the CF airways usually harbor complex microbial communities and that changes in the structure and activity of these communities influence the patient's clinical status and progression of lung disease (B & PA, 2019). In this study, microbial phylogenetic diversity and structuring is evaluated by making trees of the libraries of microorganisms found within sputum samples from patients with cystic fibrosis. The phyllotypes present in sputum samples were analyzed using 16S ribosomal RNA clone libraries (Chmiel et al., 2014). The results showed an extended spectrum of bacterial phyllotypes between opportunistic and pathogenic bacteria. As a relationship regarding the progression of the disease in tree A and a metabolic interaction in tree B. This indicates that the progression of lung deterioration is linked to a set of factors such as metabolic interactions, modifications of the lung parenchyma and coinfections
