Impacto de las pericias psicológicas en la reparación integral de mujeres víctimas de violencia de género

Abstract

Gender violence is a growing phenomenon around the world. The psychological examinations are considered means of proof that contribute to the comprehensive repair of the victims. The objective of this research is to identify the impact of expert psychological reports on comprehensive reparation for women victims of gender violence in Ecuador. The methodological framework presents a qualitative design, descriptive scope and documentary type. A bibliographic review was carried out and semi-structured interviews were conducted with Ecuadorian professional experts in the field/subject: 5 with psychological experts and 5 with judges. The data obtained were processed by matrices for content análisis, which allowed to conclude that forensic psychological reports have a high impact on the comprehensive reparation of women victims of gender violence, because they advise the justice administrators in deciding on the most appropriate reparation measures.
