Abstract: The Craft Training Center project in the La Tola neighborhood, located in the Pichincha province, is designed to meet the spatial needs of the local artisans. Considering the characteristics of the place such as: topography, boundaries / barriers, pedestrian, vehicular accessibility, public transport, noise, visuals; therefore, the design is the result of their interpretation. On the other hand, it is also necessary to understand the functional relationships, for this the work processes of each workshop were independently analyzed: Carpentry-Joinery, Shoe Store, Tailoring and Silverware. The purpose of this is to create an optimized space for the user. The project comprises 4623.50m2 of construction, which are distributed on four levels: subsoil; supply area and library, ground floor; craft workshops, infirmary, warehouse, cafeteria, exhibition area, sanitary batteries, upper floor 1; auditorium, copier, classrooms, sanitary batteries, upper floor 2; administration, sanitary batteries, are located on 4124m2 of land. The study area is characterized by the preexistence of pedestrian stairways, which end in the Itchimbía Park, were considered for the urban implementation of the architectural project, granting permeability to public space. Finally, the project consists of a variable modulation pattern based on 5, which changes according to the function of each piece of equipment, this number is not random, it determines the minimum space and type of structure in the craft workshops
