Zusammenfassung: | The present research aimed to identify the psychological impact related to COVID-19 confinement in a group of women of low socioeconomic level undergoing psychotherapeutic treatment at the Wiñarina Foundation. For this purpose, a mixed research methodology was used. For the quantitative approach, the following tests were used: Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-2), MOS Social Support Questionnaire, Perceived Stress Scale, which allowed evaluating the dimensions of anxiety, depression, social support and stress. For the qualitative approach, an interview with open-ended questions on the state of confinement by Covid-19 was applied. These questions were applied to a sample of 10 women between 22 and 58 years of age. The results obtained show that there is a considerably serious psychological impact, where the dimensions of anxiety, social support and depression are those that have most affected the mental health of the group of women, with about 70% of them with symptoms of depression, 60% with symptoms of moderate stress and a level of social support that varies from medium to minimal. Likewise, the results show that the percentage of anxiety levels are in mild to low levels, with 60 %, a low percentage probably as a consequence of the psychotherapeutic process they are undergoing. It was therefore concluded that there is a considerable psychological impact derived from the confinement by Covid-19 that has affected the health of the group of women, especially in the depressive symptomatology. |
