Resumen : El trabajo de investigación sobre Ciencias del Trabajo y Comportamiento humano, específicamente Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional, tiene como objetivo fundamental Identificar las semejanzas y diferencias existentes entre la Ley de Prevención, Mitigación y Protección Contra Incendios y su Reglamento; respecto a las Reglas Técnicas sobre prevención de incendios de la ciudad de Quito (RTQ), a través de un análisis pormenorizado de cada uno de los artículos técnicos aplicando un método analítico descriptivo. El fundamento teórico es legal basado en la ley y reglas, antes mencionadas. La metodología es una investigación documental para alcanzar los resultados comparativos necesarios. La conclusión general se refiere a que las RTQ, no cuentan con todos los requisitos técnicos legales, siendo muy poco específicas en relación a la ley. Con la recomendación de respetar y aplicar la normativa técnico legal, para garantizar las medidas de prevención y protección contra incendios en los diferentes establecimientos. Con el fin de que puedan ser utilizados por los diferentes Cuerpos de Bomberos y los profesionales técnicos especializados
Descripción : The research work on Labor Sciences and Human Behavior, specifically Occupational Safety and Health, has as its fundamental objective to identify the similarities and differences between the Law of Prevention, Mitigation and Protection Against Fires and its bylaw; Regarding the Technical Rules on fire prevention of the city of Quito (RTQ), through a detailed analysis of each of the technical articles applying a descriptive analytical method. The theoretical foundation is legal based on the law and rules, mentioned above. The methodology is a documentary investigation to achieve the necessary comparative results. The general conclusion refers to the fact that the RTQs do not have all the legal technical requirements, being very little specific in relation to the law. With the recommendation to respect and apply the technical legal regulations, to guarantee the prevention and protection measures against fires in the different establishments. In order that they can be used by the different Fire Brigades and specialized technical professionals.
