Análisis comparativo de los tratamientos en poblaciones drogodependientes que se han realizado en países hispanohablantes

Abstract

Introduction: There are few studies aimed at evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic treatments, despite the fact that, since the 1970s, the funds granted by public administrations for this purpose have increased considerably. Materials and methods: This article has been developed within a documentary analysis, descriptive-documentary methodology, that is, the review of varied bibliography, national and international, began, consulting scientific articles, books, magazines, manuals focusing on the present and past of treatments for drug addicts, in each of the countries investigated, those with the highest theoretical validity were selected with the aim of obtaining accurate information regarding the treatments, modalities and approaches that were selected cognitive behavioral, humanistic and systemic used in the centers, clinics in Spanish-speaking countries. Results: Regarding the results concerning the approach in the centers of the countries Mexico, Uruguay and Brazil that correspond to 33.33%, the cognitive behavioral approach was used, while Spain and Guatemala that correspond to 22.22% used the systemic approach , in Chile that correspond to 11.12% was addressed through the humanistic approach, finally in Ecuador, Colombia and Perú that corresponds to 33.33% within the Specialized Center for the treatment of people with problematic consumption of alcohol and other drugs (CETAD), an integrative approach was used. Conclusion: Having explored the different treatment modalities, approaches in each country and context that was selected within the article, it is concluded that there is no approach that has a significant prevalence among the treatments provided in the different entities in the therapeutic process and rehabilitation for people with alarming drug use.
