Diseño arquitectónico de una mediateca en la ciudad de Latacunga

Abstract

The work presents the development of an educational project, a Media Library, for the city of Latacunga. The following project aims to promote and reduce the technology gap in accordance with Agenda 2030, which are objectives for sustainable development adopted by the UN General Assembly. After having made site analysis, urban, demographic, socio-cultural, of preexistences, urban-rural educational equipments of the study area, the design of the proposal is proposed respecting the existing purity in the Historical buildings that are adjacent to the study lot, by means of the analysis of the city it was possible to be demonstrated the lack of several equipments and services; with what the project proposes to mitigate the current needs. It is proposed to develop a Media Library project in which the theoretical elements of the 2030 agenda are based, of which the research is focused on four chapters or parameters of this one; quality education, decent work and economic growth, reduction of inequalities and sustainable cities and communities; these parameters are elemental to obtain information from the environment. The Media Library is not only projected as a space of study, this is complemented with the social, cultural and economic environment in order to promote a change in culture, help integration and social cohesion.
