Abstract

The Parish of Alangasí in its beginnings did not have a space destined to function as a fair or market, for this reason the inhabitants moved to the Rumiñahui Parish to stock up on various products. The Market for the Parish of Alangasí, arises after having observed the Development Plan of the Parish, where it is contemplated that one of its needs is the market, in addition to this an analysis of the current equipment was made and it was determined that it It no longer complies with the furniture, equipment, facilities, number of positions, specialized areas, service area and infrastructure necessary for it to function as a market. In the urban proposal, two mobility axes are proposed, the first that will connect the market with the commercial area, generating a node that will function as a plaza and public space and this in turn will connect the entire parish and the second axis that will connect the entire educational area with the Complementary Proposal to the Market. The Architectural project proposes the interior-exterior limit solving it with the design of permeable intermediate spaces that generate a visual continuity between interior and exterior space, additionally, work is done with the placement of retail modules in the square, which is an open and public space generating this way an intermediate space. In addition, the architectural project can also be understood as a permeable configuration due to the transparency design of its facades, allowing the interior space to be visible from the public space, as well as the exterior being evident from the controlled spaces, which is why the facades do not they are constuted as an abstract element, rather they adopt different materialities to generate permeability.
