| Abstract: | The present investigation analyzes the Ecuadorian cocoa export temporary series in the period 2013- 2017 by means of econometric decomposition, identifying trend, seasonal and irregular components which are validated with statistical indexes of adjustment. The positive and negative peaks associated to the irregular component are analyzed and categorized according to methods of business environment analysis, finally identifying the key factors that have influenced the variation of FOB income from cocoa exports to the Ecuadorian state. |
| Description: | La presente investigación analiza la serie temporal de exportación de cacao ecuatoriano en el período 2013- 2017 mediante descomposición econométrica, identificando componentes tendencial, estacional e irregular los cuales son validados con índices estadísticos de ajuste. Los picos positivos y negativos asociados al componente irregular son analizados y categorizados de acuerdo a métodos de análisis del entorno empresarial, identificando finalmente los factores claves que han incidido en la variación de ingresos FOB por exportaciones de cacao al estado ecuatoriano. |
