Vivienda colectiva productiva en el barrio La Tola

Abstract

After an urban-architectural analysis of the La Tola neighborhood for this project, a small plot of land was selected, important urban and social elements since it connects the neighborhood with the Marín Beach and the historical center. The need to create a functional model of collective-productive housing for artisans in the neighborhood was determined, since the current housing is not in good condition and does not meet the spatial demands of this social group, many people are migrating and others are adapting their housing to create workshops, which generates a bad living condition. This problem is approached through a matrix of relationship of theoretical concepts of collective and productive housing, taking important parameters of the historical context as the proportion and modulation, of the cultural specifying the most important artisan trades and the social focusing the problem of excess of people by housing unit, for what a decision is taken to give a progressive character to the project; looking for the best form of integration of the architecture and generating strategies based on the minimum space. The urban aspects as an element of connection and material-constructive coherent with the economic capacity of the users in order to obtain a project that fulfills all the requirements of the site. Finally, we obtain a set of concepts and parameters that allow us to characterize the productive-collective housing for the La Tola neighborhood, and a spatial architectural proposal where these concepts are implemented.
