Percepción de trastornos musculo-esqueléticas en trabajadores de la salud (administrativos) expuestos a riesgo ergonómico de un subcentro de salud “Tipo C” de la Provincia de Esmeraldas

Abstract

INTRODUCTION: The administrative activity in Health posts is increasing and this is demanding both cognitive and physical administrative spectra that a worker exposed to ergonomic risk must acquire, especially for forced postures, which generates musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) located in certain regions of the body and based on his working conditions that surround him. OBJECTIVES: Describe the pathologies and / or TME in the administrative health personnel as well as measure the ergonomic risk by forced postures of health workers from a health sub-center of the province of Esmeraldas. METHODOLOGY: A descriptive cross-sectional study will be carried out on 20 administrative health workers exposed to ergonomic risk in the Esmeraldas province. The Nordic Kuorinka questionnaire and the ergonomic REBA method were applied for the study of the job. RESULTS: Administrative workers who use portable computers have more cases of musculoskeletal discomfort prevailing in the neck area or cervical region and the lumbar area subject to penalized postures and lack of ergonomic support.
