La importancia de la judicialización de los casos de graves violaciones a Derechos Humanos documentados en la Comisión de la Verdad del Ecuador del 2010, dentro de la justicia transicional

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to analyze the importance of the judicialization of the cases documented by the Ecuadorian Truth Commission of 2010 through Transitional Justice, as a measure that guarantees the non-repetition of the facts and doesn’t allow cases of Violation of rights remain in impunity, thus giving victims comprehensive reparation for the damage caused to their lives.

The first chapter is based on the knowledge of respect for Human Rights, which have been the formal agreements that States have reached, the characteristics of human rights. I will give an account of part of the serious violations of human rights around the world with an emphasis on the violations that have occurred in the country.

Subsequently, Transitional Justice was considered, which is the process to restore episodes of violence and allow compensation for the physical, moral and economic damage that occurred to the victims in the systematic violation of human rights.

Finally, the progress of judicialization of cases of serious human rights violations, documented by the 2010 Truth Commission, which were the impediments, strengths and how many cases were judicialized and analyzed with successfully.
