Abstract

High density housing in the Larrea neighborhood, born out of the necessities and the analysis of that sector. A previous urban analysis has been conducted by the project workshop of the ninth semester, where evidence emerged out of a series of debilitating problems, in which an Urban Plan is being proposed, with the main objective being to augment the density of the population by means of implementing new equipment and housing in that sector. The primary problem that was presented in the study is the low population density, lack of public space, and the deficiency of the proper use of that area. Furthermore, the sector is characterized by counting with a high number of government equipment, the Central University, and certain medical equipment, which generate a large flow in the population, as well as having it's commerce predominating on the ground floor. The project is to be developed with the following title: High density housing in the Larrea neighborhood, sector 6, born from the structure analysis, functionality of the site and the user, where it is proposed to increase the density of the neighborhood.
