Description: The problems associated with ergonomic deficiencies at work are acquiring significant importance, due to these deficiencies during the medical evaluation, goniometric methods must be contemplated that will allow tracing of the workers’ health surveillance. It is proposed comparing the biomechanical limitations present in workers of an Ecuadorian company, through the anamnesis and gonometry of symptomatic and asymptomatic patients, for the diagnosis of MSD, through the application of goniometry comparing them through the anamnesis.Student's t was applied and the results reveal that in the shoulder and knee there is a significant difference between the goniometry results and the history of the symptomatic and asymptomatic group in the periodic examination; t (4) = 13, 960; p <, 05 (shoulder in flexion); t (94) =-3801 ; p <, 05 (shoulder in abduction) and t (94) = -3801 ; p <, 05 (knee in flexion). It is concluded that the goniometry insertion could be used to qualify the physical fitness of the work, only when combined with other techniques. However, as the study demonstrates, they must identify their limitations and take into account that there are many instruments for conducting an evaluation.
