Description: Sleep is a very important factor in the quality of life of a person and also plays a fundamental role in the work performance of a worker. Several studies have shown the association between sleep quality and occupational accidents, with a greater focus on health care and transportation sectors. Likewise, other works have concluded about the effect of health and life habits on the quality of sleep. Despite this, little information has been published relating the three aspects mentioned, let alone in the manufacturing industry in Latin America. In this work, a greater number of cases of poor sleep quality among individuals with grater predisposition to occupational accidents is revealed and an analysis of the factors related to lifestyle habits that affect the quality of sleep as such is carried out in a working population of the manufacturing industry in the city of Bogotá
