Descripción : The purpose of this work is to design the structure for a two-axis solar tracker from a structur-al analysis and mechanical simulation in the static state that allows the implementation of an electrical energy system from solar energy. In the first room, a model was proposed based on previous work, which was modified so that it can house a 175 W (11Kg) solar panel and the structural analysis was carried out based on the influential loads and their respective effort on the cross-sectional area of the main column and the base and based on the results evaluate the required profile and its material in catalogs of the region. Subsequently, the prototype was taken to a CAE program to corroborate the previous calcula-tions in a static simulation and additionally detect possible failures. Finally, the construction was carried out, maintaining the nature of the original prototype by add-ing certain modifications that arose and were not considered in the virtual prototype since it is considered an ideal environment but not real. After comparing the real prototype with the virtual one and its variations, a functional structure was obtained with the capacity to support the loads and that additionally it is light weighing 80 kilograms with all the components included.
