Description: Outsourcing arises as a response to the already known postúlate which says that there is no company that is really productive in all its activities and as we know, modern companies have many fields of activity in which it is truly difficult achieve high performances by themselves. The first thing to know is that the processes of globalization have had a strong impact on the development of the administration of our time, these same processes have made the competition is much more fierce, that the technology develops more swiftly and, of course, which companies that commonly operated in local markets they come to internationalize by entering to bite market shares of large established corporations. This fact hit large firms, which, in their attempts to retain their supremacy have developed tools that really they are not recent discoveries, but that ultimately they constitute new developments. One of them is outsourcing, which practically was born at IBM as a strategy against new competitors. In addition to the economic globalization that was presented at the end of the 80s a global economic recession that forced firms to establish cost reduction as a competitiveness policy and efficiency. This situation allowed the outsourcing to take even more strength, since in addition to increasing specialization, it allowed for costs. Today outsourcing is widespread in the environment business, perhaps this situation has given rise to errors, since in many cases have occurred in outsourcing operations or processes that instead of improving organizational performance have made it worse. This is because that the decision to outsource is not made based on an analysis enough, but is taken based on instinct or experiences that They have had other companies. Before giving a part of the company's operation in outsourcing, a conscientious study must be carried out that has the enough information in all areas, costs, human resources, management, economic environment, suppliers, etc. All the activities of a company can be outsourced, to exception of those that make up its "core business", that is, the norm basic and most important is not to outsource any of the functions or areas that are considered as fundamental in the company. For example, Microsoft will never outsource programming and the development of its software, that is its fundamental task, but it will do with the merchandise delivery service.
