Abstract: La presente investigación tiene por objetivo sistematizar las prácticas exitosas de la asociación Kallari constituida como una unión no gubernamental que ha estructurado una sociedad sustentable para trabajar directamente con las comunidades aledañas a la ciudad del Tena, abasteciéndose de cacao fino de aroma para la elaboración de chocolate orgánico, sin la participación de intermediarios en la comercialización y exportación de los mismos, generando un fortalecimiento en la industria del cacao, a través de estrategias de producción, fermentación y secado que garanticen una excelente calidad de los productos comercializados a nivel nacional e internacional, mediante un modelo de asociatividad que ha permitido la inclusión de familias kiwchas en emprendimientos sociales bajo un esquema de comercio justo. El estudio del proyecto de la asociación indígena Kallari, ha permitido identificar los principales retos y desafíos que han surgido en el transcurso de la constitución de la organización, con el fin de promover la asociatividad para el desarrollo de nuevos proyectos con similares características, que incentiven la inclusión económica y social de los pueblos indígenas en la Amazonía Ecuatoriana, a través de una vinculación entre las prácticas productivas ancestrales y las actuales, generando un crecimiento sostenible.
Description: The present investigation aims to systematize the successful practices of the Kallari association constituted as a non-governmental union that has structured a sustainable society to work directly with the communities surrounding the city of Tena, supplying fine cocoa aroma to make chocolate organic, without the participation of intermediaries in the commercialization and export of the same, generating a strengthening in the cocoa industry, through production, fermentation and drying strategies that guarantee an excellent quality of the products marketed nationally and internationally, through a model of associativity that has allowed the inclusion of kiwchas families in social enterprises under a fair trade scheme. The study of the project of the Kallari indigenous association, has allowed to identify the main challenges and challenges that have arisen in the course of the constitution of the organization, with the purpose of promoting the associativity for the development of new projects with similar characteristics, that incentive the economic and social inclusion of indigenous peoples in the Ecuadorian Amazon, through a link between ancestral and current productive practices, generating sustainable growth.
