In the present study, a comparison was made of how is the management of rules, roles, limits and hierarchies, as well as the family structure between families that have a member diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and families that do not have it, through a survey and a semi-structured interview with 15 families who have a child diagnosed with ADHD and 15 families who do not have it, from which it was concluded that there is a difference in 11% in the management of limits and 13% in the management of hierarchies, where families that do not have a diagnosed member present more functional behaviors compared to the other group of families. In addition, intrafamily abuse was detected in 93% and family alliances in 100% in families that do have a member diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder compared to families that do not have it, who obtained a higher percentage of adequate intrafamilial relationships and 47% of alliances.-
